Jamia Millia Islamia: Delhi’s premier public research university – Jamia Millia Islamia – has announced tha the online application window for free Civil Services Coaching Program 2026-27 for Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has opened today.
Entrance test for the Jamia Millia Islamia’s Residential Coaching Academy (JMI-RCA) would be conducted across 13 cities including Hyderabad, Guwahati, Mumbai, Patna, Kolkata, Delhi, Jaipur, Srinagar, Jammu, Lucknow, Bengaluru, Calicut and Ranchi would be conducted on June 6.

Jamia Millia Islamia-Important Dates
Online applications would begin on April 1 and the last date is May 26. The application correction window would be May 29-30 and the entrance test would be June 6. The tentative date for the written test would be July 10 and tentative interview date would be July 16-31 while the tentative final result is likely to be August 7.
The last date for admission would be August 18 and waiting list registration date would be August 21. The date for waiting list admission would be August 25 and the tentative date for orientation and classes would be September 1, 2026.
The free coaching program that is accompanied by hostel facilities is aimed at preparing UPSC aspirants from SCs, STs, women and minority communities.
Exam Pattern And Selection Process
Format for the written examination aligns with the UPSC exam and includes two papers: Essay writing and General Studies (objective type). Both papers would be available in Hindi, Urdu and English. The exams would be evaluating candidates’ reasoning ability, structured expression, comprehension and general awareness.
There would be a concept of negative marking for objective type questions. One-third of the marks would be deducted for a wrong answer. Paper 1 would have 60 questions of 1 mark each and paper 2 would be for 60 marks (essay writing).
