What is the Provision for Grace Marks in the Result?

The provision for grace marks for those students who fail in the examination includes the following:

  • 2 marks can be allotted for a particular subject to declare a student passed
  • Up to 4 marks can be allotted to the supplementary subject to pass any student
  • If a student fails in one subject, grace marks of up to 12 marks can be allotted
  • If a student fails in two subjects, the grace marks allotted will be distributed between two subjects to maintain total score of 33%.

How to Apply for Re-evaluation? 

The process for the re-evaluation of answer sheets include the followoing: 

  • There will be re-evaluation of answer sheets for those students who are not satisfied with the marks allotted to them. They can apply for re-evaluation of their answer sheets. They should bear in mind that once marks allotted after re-evaluation will not be changed afterwards. 
  • Students can apply for re-evaluation through the official website of the Mizoram Board—mbse.edu.in. The re-evaluation application forms will be made available online only. 
  • The fee for re-evaluation is Rs. 500/subject
