The National Testing Agency has released the exam date for NEET (UG) exam for the year 2021. NEET (National Eligibility Entrance Test) Examination will be held on August 1 for students taking admission in undergraduate courses in the medical field. NTA announced the exam schedule on Friday, stating that the online application process will also be started a few days after the release of the exam date.
The NTA has been given the responsibility of getting the NEET exam completed by the Ministry of Education. Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank had made it clear a few days ago that under this circumstance, this year’s NEET exam will not be cancelled. While issuing instructions on Friday, the NTA said that the NEET exam will be conducted on August 1 through pen and paper in 11 Indian languages including Hindi, English.
To appear in the NEET entrance examination, the candidate must be 12th from the science stream. Students participating in the 12th board exam will also be able to appear in NEET 2021 exam.
Last year, a total of 15.97 lakh candidates had registered for this examination. About 90 percent of these students had given the exam. Over 14.37 lakh candidates appeared in the entrance examination on 13 September despite the corona pandemic.
Bulletin will be released-
NEET 2021 application form and information bulletin will be released soon on the official website of NTA. The NTA has said that detailed information about the exam syllabus, age limit, reservation, number of seats, examination fee and examination center will be given soon in the bulletin. However, there has been no significant change in the criteria and syllabus of the examination. Therefore, the old norm is likely to remain the same.
