Prime Minister Modi Launches PM SHRI Scheme at NEP 2020 Anniversary Event, Releases First Installment of the Funds for Schools

PM Shri Scheme: On July 29, Prime Minister Narendra Modi officially opened the Akhil Bhartiya Shiksha Samagam 2023. The third anniversary of the National Education Policy, or NEP 2020, falls on the same day as the “Samagam.”

PM Modi Unveils PM SHRI Scheme

The PM SHRI Scheme’s first installment of funding was also made available by the Prime Minister, who also gave the event’s opening address. As envisioned by the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, the schools participating in this programme will cultivate pupils so that they grow into involved, successful, and contributing citizens who help build a just, inclusive, and plural society. The education and skill curriculum books will also be published by the prime minister in 12 Indian languages. The PM SHRI Scheme is launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Akhil Bhartiya Shiksha Samagam.

Transforming Education for an Inclusive Society

The Prime Minister will announce the first installment of funding under the PM SHRI Scheme during the programme. As envisioned by the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, these schools will cultivate students in a way that helps them become involved, successful, and contributing citizens for establishing a just, inclusive society. The education and skill curriculum books will also be published by the prime minister in 12 Indian languages.
