Schools to reopen in Delhi? Know what Manish Sisodia says

After controlling the situation against corona infection in the country, many states have announced the opening of schools and colleges. In many states, students will be able to come to school and college from August 1. Meanwhile, Delhi Education Minister Manish Sisodia held an important press conference on Wednesday regarding the opening of schools and colleges.

He said that parents of children were called in all government schools to know the idea of opening schools amid the threat of Covid-19. Out of these, more than five lakh parents have met the teachers. Delhi Deputy CM Sisodia said that the parents of the students want schools to be opened, but they also have concerns about the safety from Corona.

He said that he also met college students, whose first and now second years are also being spent sitting in their homes. Schools and colleges have started opening in the surrounding states as well. Schools opened in many states from July and now students are being called in many states from August as well.

Indicating the opening of schools-colleges in the national capital, Sisodia said that now the cases of corona are decreasing continuously in Delhi and the number of infected daily has come down to between 40-70. He said that in such a situation, before the government takes any decision on opening schools and colleges, the government wants to know the side of the students, their parents and teachers.
