Today on 30 June 2021, a special convocation ceremony was organized in the Shobhit University premises. This special convocation was organized for the foreign students studying in the university. The convocation ceremony was started by lighting the lamp in front of Maa Saraswati by the Chief Guest Kunwar Shekhar Vijender, Vice Chancellor of the University Prof AP Garg, Deen Academics and Registrar Mitranand Bahuguna.
At the beginning of the program, the Vice-Chancellor of the University, Professor AP Garg welcomed the guests and presented the progress report of the University, after which the Vice-Chancellor of the University, Prof Garg administered the oath of initiation to all the degree recipients.
Taking forward the special convocation, the degree was presented to the students by the Chief Guest Hon’ble Kunwar Shekhar Vijendra. The enthusiasm of the students after receiving the degree was worth seeing. The special convocation was mainly attended by students from Nigeria, Yemen, Oman, Afghanistan. Two students Shehu Usman and Rabiu Mohamed Usman received a degree in Master of Commerce from Nigeria. Mubarak Jibrin, a Master of Computer Application student from Nigeria, and Rabiu Aliyu Moriki, a Bachelor of Computer Science, earned their degrees. Yemen’s student Mohd Musleh Mohamed Obadi obtained his B.Tech Biomedical degree, besides Ali Saudh Khamis, an MBA student from Oman, and Rahim Khan, a BBA student from Afghanistan, was absent.
After conferring the degrees to the students, Chief Guest Kunwar Shekhar Vijendra while addressing the students said that your country and your family are waiting for you. Now we need to strengthen our roots which will make your country strong and strong. We have to be progressive always, he gave an example and said that when water stagnates, it starts rotting, so we should always keep progressing. He stressed upon the students to build their future according to their interest.
Yemen student Mohamed Musli Mohamed Abadi shared his thoughts that he is the first person in his family to graduate. He appreciated Shobhit University saying that in the last 4 years I have learned a lot by staying in the university and got this degree in which the teachers of the university have a special contribution. Shehu Usman, a Nigerian student of Master of Commerce, praised Indian culture and said that the university has kept us like a family. He said that before him, many Nigerian students have studied from Shobhit University and today they are working in good companies in Nigeria.
At the end of the program, the program was concluded with the national anthem after the vote of thanks by the registrar of the university, Mitranand Bahuguna.
