The ‘most regretted’ college degrees include journalism at the top

Journalism: Obtaining a college degree may not always out to be the finest choice a person makes for themselves. While many people work in fields unrelated to their undergraduate majors, others find ways to pad their resumes with a variety of professional or technical degrees in order to live better and earn more money.
According to a recent survey, college students who chose to major in journalism regretted their choice the most and would jump at the chance to switch to a new field.
The survey indicated that they make 84% more than individuals with only a high school diploma, despite the fact that it is well known that merely an undergraduate degree would not be sufficient if increased salary is the goal.

According to experts, employers no longer require a degree for mid- and upper-level hiring and instead focus on skill level and experience. According to sources, an increasing number of businesses, notably many in the technology industry, are also removing the need for degrees for many middle-skill and even higher-skill professions.

According to “The College Payoff,” a study from the Georgetown University Center for Education and the Workforce, getting a degree is almost always worthwhile. According to sources, the general consensus was that better prospects and more compensation result in less regret.
