Today, the dates for the first phase of the UGC NET exam have been released by the National Testing Agency. Candidates who had applied for this exam can check the notice by visiting the official site ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
This year UGC NET June 2023 Phase-I exam will be held from June 13 to June 17, 2023. This exam will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. The exam will be organized in two shifts. The exam will be conducted in various phases from 13th June to 22nd June 2023. The admit card for the exam is expected to be released in the second week of June 2023.
Application Process
This year the registration process for UGC NET exam started on May 10. Which ended on 31 May 2023. The window for correction in the application forms of the exam was opened from June 2 to June 3, 2023. Candidates should keep in mind that the city intimation slip for the exam has not yet been issued. These slips will be made available on the official site in due course.

Why is there an exam
UGC NET exam is conducted twice a year. Like other major examinations, the responsibility of conducting the examination rests with the National Testing Agency. The student appearing in this exam must be a post graduate. Some of the top scorers in the exam can do PhD by getting JRF. While other successful candidates become eligible to work on the post of Assistant Professor.
