120 Bahadur and Mastiii 4 continued their weak box office run on Day 5, even with discounted Tuesday ticket prices. Both films needed a strong push to recover, but the numbers stayed almost unchanged. The Farhan Akhtar and Riteish Deshmukh starrers have now slipped into a slow crawl as they struggle to reach even Rs 15 cr mark.
120 Bahadur Vs Mastiii 4 Box Office Collection Day 5
120 Bahadur opened at Rs 2.25 crore on Friday and saw a solid rise on Saturday with Rs 3.85 crore. Sunday added Rs 4 crore, but the momentum did not carry forward. The film dropped sharply to Rs 1.4 crore on Monday, confirming a dip in audience interest.
Tuesday brought only a small bump, with early estimates of Rs 1.50 crore. The reduced ticket prices did not help it bounce back. With a total of Rs 13 crore, the war drama is still performing better than Mastiii 4, but the trend indicates there is not much scope left for recovery. The film is expected to end its run around Rs 18–20 crore, which is far below expectations for a military drama of this scale.
Mastiii 4 had a poor start, opening with Rs 2.75 crore. The film stayed flat on Saturday with the same numbers and only saw a slight rise to Rs 3 crore on Sunday. Monday dropped to Rs 1.6 crore, making it clear that viewers were not interested in this instalment of the adult comedy franchise.
Tuesday added another Rs 1.6 crore, showing no improvement despite the discounted pricing. The total now stands at Rs 11.70 crore, and the film shows no signs of picking up. The Milan Milap Zaveri directorial will finish under Rs 15 crore, marking a complete box office failure.

Why Both Films Are Struggling
120 Bahadur had strong potential because of its theme, but the execution held it back. The film is based on the Battle of Rezang La from the 1962 India-China War and follows the bravery of 120 Indian soldiers. Despite its emotional subject, the film failed to create a deep connection with the audience. Critics pointed out weak writing, predictable scenes, and dialogue that lacked impact. Made on a budget of Rs 80–90 crore, the film struggled to reach a wider audience even with Farhan Akhtar leading the cast.
Mastiii 4 also could not pull crowds. The franchise has been losing steam for years, and the humour has not evolved with time. The story follows three husbands who try a “Love Visa” plan for extramarital fun, only to land in chaos. But the jokes felt outdated, the writing was flat, and the performances could not lift the weak script. Poor word-of-mouth further damaged the film’s chances.
Both films will face even more trouble as Tere Ishk Mein and other new releases arrive. These bigger titles will take over most screens, pushing 120 Bahadur and Mastiii 4 out of theatres.
