Aamir Khan steps back from acting in Champions, says ‘want to take a break, enjoy my relationships’

Aamir Khan: Actor Aamir Khan seems to have taken a break. This comes after his last film Laal Singh Chaddha opposite Kareena Kapoor Khan, bombed at the box office. Aamir Khan was supposed to do a film called Champions next but the actor announced at an event in Delhi that he wouldn’t be acting in the film. He, however, would be involved in its making. Aamir said he was taking a break from acting as he wanted to be with family, to enjoy his relationships.

Turns producer

It is not that Aamir has ended his association with the film. Instead, will now be producing the project. He added, “For the first time I’ll not be actively working as an actor. I’ll be working as a producer. I’ll continue so I’ll be producing champions, because I really believe in the film- I think it’s a great story. So I’ll be approaching other actors now to see which of them would like to do a role that I was hoping to do. Hopefully that it will go well, but I’m at that stage in life where I feel that I’d like to enjoy my relationships at this point of time.”
