Allu Arjun Released From Jail! Impact of Pushpa 2 The Rule Actor's Arrest on Box Office Collection Day 9

Allu Arjun: Amid the fuss about Allu Arjun's unforeseen arrest on December 13th, his latest flick Pushpa 2 completed 9 days on the Big Screen. As the film was continuously seeing a drop, it was expected that Pushpa 2 would regain its momentum on Friday. However, in a twist of turns, the lead actor himself got arrested on the same day. But, the good news for the Allu Army is that actor is finally released from jail. Let's take a look at his arrest's impact on the Pushpa 2 The Rule box office collection day 9.

Amid the news of Allu Arjun's arrest, the film couldn't regain its momentum on Friday. As per Sacnilk, Pushpa 2 on Thursday amassed INR 37.45 Cr with a dip of 13.61%. Adding to the dip, Pushpa 2 on Friday saw a drop of 3.07% and earned roughly INR 36.25 Cr. Most of the Friday earnings were in the Hindi version's theaters. The film grossed above INR 27 Cr in Hindi, 7.5 Cr in Telugu, 1.35 Cr in Tamil, 0.2 Cr in Kannada and Malayalam each. Overall, the film has surpassed INR 750 Cr and its total earnings are estimated to be INR 762.1 Cr. 

Allu Arjun Got Bail on the Same Day

On the premiere of his latest film Pushpa 2 The Rule, Allu Arjun along with his team was in Hyderabad for the event. Due to the massive craze of the superstar, a huge of amount fans tried to join the premier. However, the premiere resulted in an unfortunate event OF stampede in which a 35-year-old lady died and her 5-year-old suffered major injuries. On 13th December, Allu Arjun was arrested in relation to the woman's death, however, the film actor also received interim bail on the same day but the actor spent a night in Jail following many procedures. Allu Arjun's team submitted an INR 50K surety bond. 

Rashmika Mandanna Expresses Dissatisfaction on Allu Arjun's Arrest

After witnessing the incident, many film actors came forward and addressed the incident. One of them is Pushpa 2 lead actress Rashmika Mandanna. Following her co-star Allu Arjun's arrest, she took to Instagram and addressed her thoughts. She wrote, "I can't believe what I am seeing right now.. The incident that happened was an unfortunate and deeply saddening incident. However, it is disheartening to see everything being blamed on a single individual. The situation is both unbelievable and heartbreaking."
