Angry netizens slam Akshay Kumar for walking on India’s map: ‘Bhai thodi toh respect kar liya karo’

Akshay Kumar recently shared a video for an advertisement which has not gone too well with the netizens. In the promotional video, the actor is seen walking on a digitalised version of a globe. Eagle-eyed netizens noticed that the actor stepped on India’s map and slammed him for not respecting the country enough.

Akshay Kumar trolled for walking on India’s map

Akshay Kumar, Monday, shared a video promoting an international airlines company. In the video, the actor was seen announcing his world tour which will take place in March. The video has Akshay smiling and walking around the digitally created version of a globe. The ad also features actors Disha Patani, Nora Fatehi, Mouni Roy and Sonam Bajwa. Check out below:

Shameful act, say netizens

“A Canadian actor is walking over Indian map and insulting Indians. How is this even acceptable?@akshaykumar you have to apologise to 150 crores Indians for this shameful act,” wrote one internet user.

“All that is fine. But why are you walking over India’s map, Mr Akshay Kumar?” another netizen wrote.

Another person wrote, “Everything is fine but why are you walking over our India’s map? Mr @akshaykumar you have to apologize immediately otherwise we Indians will request Indian govt. to take immediate action in national interest.”

“Bhai thodi to respect kar liya karo Hamare Bharat ki,” another disappointed Twitter user wrote. 

“Ye kya hai saram karle India ko bi nahi chhoda Canadian kumar,” another person wrote.

Akshay Kumar upcoming films

On the work front, Akshay Kumar has a number of films in his kitty. Up next, he will be seen in Selfiee with Emraan Hashmi. He will also be seen in Marathi film Vedat Marathe Veer Daudle Saat.
