He said, “I can’t wait to get back on set with Sandeep and play this character! Now there is another character. Both of us keep chatting and discussing different ideas.”
Sandeep Reddy Banga Hints At A ‘War’
Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga also shared key details about Animal Park and its central conflict. The filmmaker revealed that the sequel will raise the stakes significantly and will go on floors after Prabhas‘ Spirit.
He said, “Animal Park will start soon once I finish the current film. There will be more animals as Aziz is another animal. Keeping that in mind, it will now be a war between the two brothers, who look alike. So I thought Animal Park would be the right title. I will start the shoot in mid-2027.”
About Ranbir Kapoor Starrer Animal
Released in 2023, Animal was a violent action drama that explored a broken father-son relationship. Ranbir Kapoor played Ranvijay Vijay Singh, a character shaped by emotional distance and childhood trauma. Anil Kapoor’s role as the distant father added depth to the story. Rashmika Mandanna, Triptii Dimri and Bobby Deol were also seen in important roles.
Despite mixed reactions, Animal became a huge box office success and reportedly earned over Rs 900 crore worldwide. Now, expectations are even higher for Animal Park. Although the shoot is still some time away, the buzz around the sequel has already begun. If these updates are any indication, audiences can expect a much bigger and more intense experience next time.
