Prabhas is back on the big screen in his iconic avatar and fans are turning theatres into celebration zones once again. Baahubali The Epic, the newly re-edited single-cut version of SS Rajamouli’s blockbuster saga, arrived in cinemas with massive buzz. It merges Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali: The Conclusion into one seamless cinematic journey. And yes, the excitement feels just like 2015 and 2017 all over again.

However, Day 2 showed a slight dip in numbers. As per early estimates, Baahubali: The Epic earned about Rs 7.1 cr in India on its first Saturday, marking a drop of around 26%. The Telugu version continues to lead with Rs 4.75 cr, followed by Hindi at Rs 1.65 cr. Tamil audiences contributed Rs 0.5 cr, while Malayalam and Kannada versions added Rs 0.17 cr and Rs 0.03 cr respectively.
With this, the domestic total stands at Rs 17.9 cr. Worldwide, the film has collected approximately Rs 27.85 cr in two days. These figures are impressive for a remastered re-release, and the trend still looks positive as word-of-mouth grows.
The Telugu version recorded the best occupancy on Saturday at 53.04%. Tamil stood at around 40.43%, while Hindi screens saw about 14.90% turnout. The numbers show that South markets continue to be Baahubali’s strongest base.
