The reactions show a mixed response from audiences. This latest horror-comedy marks the return of Akshay Kumar to the screen with director Priyadarshan after 14 years. Bhooth Bangla Review: Akshay Kumar Wins Praise For Comic Return

Many viewers have highlighted Akshay Kumar’s performance as the biggest strength of the film. In most Bhooth Bangla review reactions online, fans say he brings back his classic comic timing and screen presence. His mix of humour and fear-based reactions is getting appreciation.

The first half of the film is being described as light, fun and nostalgic. It relies on situational comedy and ensemble energy. Actors like Paresh Rawal and Rajpal Yadav add to the humour with their signature style. The pacing is fast, and the comedy scenes keep the tone lively.

However, opinions are divided when it comes to the second half. Some viewers say the story shifts into darker supernatural territory with a twist that keeps things interesting. Others feel the script becomes uneven and loses focus as it moves ahead.

Bhooth Bangla Review: Mixed Reactions To Script And VFX

Not all responses to the Bhooth Bangla review have been positive. Some netizens have pointed out weak writing and uneven storytelling. A viewer on social media wrote, “#AkshayKumar single-handedly saves this one. Director tries hard to create a good entertainer but weak script, uneven screenplay and bad VFX spoil the fun. #WamiqaGabbi is completely wasted, feels like she was included only for off-screen PR. #Tabu doesn’t have much to do either. Supporting comic characters are just ok.”

The same user added that the first half is entertaining, but the second half completely derails, calling it an average overall experience.

Another viewer, however, praised the film’s entertainment value. They wrote that it delivers a full theatrical experience with laughter, mystery, and energy. The reviewer appreciated Priyadarshan’s direction style and Akshay Kumar’s return to mainstream comedy. They also highlighted strong support from Paresh Rawal and Rajpal Yadav.

The user said, “If your idea of a good theatrical experience is laughing with a packed audience… then #BhoothBangla delivers exactly that.”

A third reaction was more critical, pointing out that the humour feels repetitive and the horror elements lack impact. The viewer felt the film does not match the freshness of earlier classics in the genre.
