As the world celebrates love on Valentine’s Day, actor Sreejita De plans to take her relationship with fiance Michael Blohm-Pape to the next level. The actor tells Hindustan Times that she will marry Pape on July 1 in Germany, the groom’s native country. The traditional Indian wedding may take place later this year, in October or November.
Sreejita De to marry in Germany
Sreejita De, who was last seen on Bigg Boss, says, “It is not going to be a fusion wedding. The first will be an authentically German wedding. Then we’ll have an Indian-style Bengali wedding in India, possibly in Goa or Kolkata. That has yet to be determined. The German wedding will be held in Germany.”
Pape proposed to De on his knees in front of the Eiffel Tower in Paris, France last January. They met in January 2019 and celebrated their first Valentine’s Day together less than a month later. “I remember we had agreed not to give each other gifts, but I eventually got him a cap, which he has never worn to date,” banters De, to which Pape adds, “I still have it with me.” Sreejita De added, “We went out for dinner in Bandra, and I remember him telling his sister about me on the same day. There was a photo of me kissing his hands, and it was the first photo of him that was posted.”

When they talk about each other, the Nazar actor says Pape has brought stability into her life, while the latter says she has given him a more optimistic outlook on life. “I was always realistic, but she introduced me to spirituality, energy, and optimism.”
