The drama in Bigg Boss 19 went beyond the show and stirred one of Bollywood’s most famous music families. Composer Amaal Mallik made shocking claims about his uncle, Anu Malik. Amaal said that he ruined his father Daboo Malik’s career and left him alone during the 2005 Mumbai floods. His statements shocked the audience and soon went viral on social media.

Now, Anu Malik has finally broken his silence.

Anu Malik Responds To Amaal Mallik’s Claims

Speaking to Hindustan Times, Anu Malik dismissed the accusations, saying he won’t let lies or negativity affect his peace. He said, “A lie told 1,000 times will never become the truth. One can’t waste energy reacting to everything.”

The veteran composer also recalled the advice given by his father, Sardar Malik. He added, “My father (composer Sardar Malik) always told me, never allow poison to churn in your mind. If you do, you’ll never be a good composer. People may hurt you, but they can’t take away your talent, that’s yours. I sit at my piano, make a new tune, and that’s my answer to the world.”

Although Anu avoided naming Amaal directly, his calm words meant that he wished to move on. His brother Daboo Malik earlier spoke about the matter and called Amaal’s comments “unnecessary.”

What Amaal Mallik Revealed In Bigg Boss 19

During a conversation with contestant Baseer Ali, Amaal opened up about the tensions within his family. He praised Anu Malik for keeping their grandfather Sardar Malik’s musical legacy alive, but said things changed after fame and success entered their lives.

He claimed that Anu once invited his father to record a song, only for him to find out that it had already been sung by Udit Narayan years earlier. Amaal called his uncle an “evil heart” and said his father was deeply hurt by the incident.

Amaal also blamed his aunt for influencing his uncle’s behaviour and said, “Wives are a big issue.”

He also shared a childhood memory from the 2005 Mumbai floods and said, “Juhu used to be flooded with water, and I must have been 7 years old… This family (uncle’s family) saw me outside the gate, struggling, crying, and the water was up to my chest. Their car was parked in front of me, and I saw them locking the doors of their car. They left me, just deserted me.”

Meanwhile, Amaal is also getting attention for his dirty comments on housemates. He was recently slammed by Salman Khan for his foul language. Gauahar Khan went to call him ‘dogla.’
