Kareena Kapoor Khan, who has been enjoying the motherhood life since the birth of her second son, has cherished her pregnancy experiences on the pages. She has named it ‘Pregnancy Bible’ but the controversy about her book is heating up. However, the book has already been titled as a best-seller.
In fact, Kareena has shared her physical and emotional experiences during and after pregnancy in the book, but the Christian group says that it is hurting their sentiments regarding its title.
Ashish Shinde, president of Alpha Omega Christian Federation, has filed a complaint against Kareena Kapoor and co-writer Aditi Shah Bhimjani at Shivaji Nagar police station over the book and also mentioned the title of the book published by Juggernaut Books as ‘Pregnancy Bible’.
He has said that the holy word ‘Bible’ has been used in the title of the book, which has hurt the religious sentiments of Christians.
On the other hand, Inspector Sainath Thombre, in-charge of Shivaji Nagar police station said, ‘A complaint has been received from Shinde’s side but at present no FIR has been registered on it. Since the incident did not happen under his jurisdiction, he has been advised to file a complaint in Mumbai.
A few days back, Kareena Kapoor wrote a long note announcing this book and also thanked those who are her strength pillars. In the note, Kareena Kapoor wrote that it has been a journey… writing my pregnancy and pregnancy bible. There were both good days and bad days. Sometimes I was eager to go to work and sometimes I was struggling to get out of bed. This book is written on my experiences both physically and emotionally during both the pregnancies. This is a personal account of all those emotions. In many ways this book is like my third child… from conception to its birth.’
It is noteworthy that Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan got married in the year 2016. After four years of marriage, Kareena gave birth to her first son, Taimur. After this, now the second son Jeh was born in the couple’s house.
The actress has also returned to work after the birth of her son. Her next film ‘Lal Singh Chaddha’ is going to release soon.
