Border 2 Box Office Collection Day 13: Border 2 continues to face pressure at the box office as its earnings dropped again on Day 13. Despite opening well and carrying strong expectations, the Sunny Deol-led war drama is now struggling to keep pace with his earlier blockbuster Gadar 2.

Directed by Anurag Singh, the film released last month and enjoyed a solid first week. However, collections have been unstable since then. According to Sacnilk, Border 2 has earned Rs 290.9 crore in India after 13 days, falling short of key milestones achieved by comparable big releases.

The declining weekday numbers suggest that audience interest is slowing, even though the film carries a strong patriotic theme and a large ensemble cast.

Border 2 Box Office Collection Day 13

After a powerful first week collection of Rs 224.25 crore, Border 2 entered its second week with mixed momentum. On Day 8, the film earned Rs 10.75 crore, followed by Rs 17.75 crore on Day 9. Collections peaked again on Day 10 with Rs 22.50 crore.

The drop came sharply on Monday. Day 11 saw earnings fall to Rs 5.75 crore. Discounted ticket prices on Tuesday did not help, as Day 12 also closed at Rs 5.75 crore. The downward trend continued on Wednesday, with Day 13 bringing in just Rs 4.15 crore.

With this, the total domestic collection stands at Rs 290.9 crore. On Wednesday, the film recorded an overall Hindi occupancy of 8.83 percent, showing reduced footfall across cinema halls.

While Border 2 initially opened stronger than Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar, it could not maintain that lead for long. With no strong weekday recovery, the film slipped behind both Dhurandhar and Chhaava in overall performance.

The comparison with Gadar 2 has been particularly challenging. Despite being mounted on a larger scale and featuring multiple stars, Border 2 has underperformed. Gadar 2 crossed Rs 300 crore in India within just eight days. Border 2 has not reached that mark even after 13 days.

In contrast, Dhurandhar showed much stronger box office legs. The Ranveer Singh starrer had collected Rs 437.25 crore within the same 13-day period.

On the global front, Border 2 has performed better. The film’s worldwide collection has reportedly reached Rs 411.76 crore, helping it cross the Rs 400 crore mark despite the domestic slowdown.
