Criminal Justice 4 on Disney + Hotstar: Pankaj Tripathi is expected to be back again with his wit, strategies, and quest for truth in Criminal Justice Season 4. Criminal Justice has been produced by Applause Entertainment in association with BBC Studios India.
After the success of three seasons named Criminal Justice, Criminal Justice: Behind Closed Doors and Criminal Justice: Adhura Sach, the web series has been renewed for the fourth season, as confirmed by the makers.
Criminal Justice Season 4 “on the cards”
In an exclusive conversation with PinkVilla, Sameer Nair, Applause Entertainment’s CEO, confirmed that Criminal Justice Season 4 is “on the cards”. He said that Season 4 will be “truly an original” show as “no one in the world has doe this”.
Talking about Madhav Mishra, played by Pankaj Tripathi, Nair said it has become a character of its own right. Heaping praises on the actor, he said, “Pankaj Tripathi is the greatest, he is so good.” He also shared that the script of the Season 4 is currently being written.
About Criminal Justice
Criminal Justice has been inspired from the 2008 British show ‘The Night Of’ written by Peter Moffat. The first season of the show dropped in April 2019 and featured Pankaj Tripathi and Vikrant Massey in the leading roles. The series premiered on Disney + Hotstar.
Criminal Justice Season 2 or Criminal Justice: Behind Close Doors had Pankaj Tripathi reprising his role as street-smart advocate Madhav Mishra. The series premiered on Disney + Hotstar in December 2020.
Criminal Justice Season 3 or Criminal Justice Adhura: Sach saw Madhav Mishra returning with his toughest case yet. Aside from Pankaj Tripathi, it also starred Swastika Mukherjee, Purab Kohli, and Aaditya Gupta. The first episode of Criminal Justice Season 3 premiered in August last year on Disney + Hotstar.
What fans expect from Criminal Justice Season 4?
With the unprecedented success of all three seasons of Criminal Justice, fans are now anticipating makers to deliver another hit. It will be interesting to see what new makers bring to the table as the Pankaj Tripathi starrer returns for the fourth instalment.
