Dadasahab Phalke Awards: It’s award season! This evening in the city, the famous Dadasaheb Phalke awards were presented. Several celebrities who looked stunning on the red carpet were featured. It goes without saying that Alia Bhatt and Rekha, who bonded with one another, were the evening’s high point. Alia also choose to wear a white saree, looking ethereal, while the great Rekha, as always, was seen wearing her stunning Kanjivaram saree. Alia savoured the moment as Rekha kissed her on the cheek. Alia was photographed with a gajra as well.
Rishab Shetty from “Kantara,” Ronit Roy alongside Shreyas Talpade, and director Pushkar Gayatri were also seen. Also showed up was Varun Dhawan, who posed beside Anupam Kher. These actors raised the style-quotient with their dapper looks for the award night in the B-Town.
Alia Bhatt won the best actor award at Dadasahab Phalke Awards
Rekha received a Dadasaheb Phalke award this evening for her contributions to Indian film, while Alia took home the best actress prize this year for “Gangubai Kathiawadi.” For “Kantara,” Shetty was named the most promising performer. Rudra: The Edge of Darkness won this year’s best online series award. The “Kashmir Files” won best picture, and director Vivek Agnihotri was in attendance to accept the trophy.
