Dalip Tahil: Actor Dalip Tahil cleared up reports that Jaya Prada had once slapped him while filming a rape scene. As perreports the incidents happened on the sets of Aankhree Raasta. Tahil denied the rumours and said he held no grudge against the rumour monger who started it all.
Aankhree Raasta is a film directed by K Bhagyaraj. It had Amitabh Bachchan, Sridevi, and Anupam Kher alongside Jaya Prada and Dalip Tahil as actors.

It was all a rumour
It was said that while shooting, Dalip was asked to perform a rape scene with Jaya. When the actor refused to do it, he was threatened that his career would be ruined. He only agreed to do it when he was told that Jaya had agreed to do the scene. However, things took a different turn when Jaya slapped Dalip after he got carried away while shooting, said reports.
Talking to some reporters, Dalip said, “I have been reading over a period of time that I have done a rape scene with Jaya Prada. It says that I got carried away, and then she slapped me. It keeps coming on my Google alert.”

Never worked with Jaya Prada
“Let me clarify that I have never shared screen space with Jaya Prada ji. I was keen to do so but never got the chance. No such scene ever happened. I have no animosity against the person writing it. I’d like this person to show me this scene. Now on social media, people are creating situations that probably never existed in the first place. Imagine, such a scene never happened and it’s being reported,” the actor added.
Dalip Tahil has worked in more than 100 films. His films are Baazigar (1993) Raja (1995) Hum Hai Rahi Pyar Ke (1993) Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak (1988), Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai (2000), Ajnabee (2001), Rock On!! (2008), Ra.One (2011) Bhaag Milkha Bhaag (2013) and Mission Mangal (2019) among others.
He was last seen in HIT: The First Case with Rajkummar Rao and Sanya Malhotra.
Dalip was also a part of Mind The Malhotras Season 2.
