Actor Deepika Padukone’s absence from the launch of her upcoming film Project K at the San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) has disappointed many fans eagerly waiting for the event. The reason behind her absence is the ongoing strike by the Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Radio and Television Artists (SAG-AFTRA) in the US. As a dedicated member of SAG-AFTRA, Deepika Padukone has chosen to adhere to the union’s guidelines for actors during the strike, which means refraining from providing promotional or publicity services, including appearances at conventions like SDCC.
