Deepika Padukone visits Lord Venkateshwara Temple with sister Anisha ahead of Fighter release; WATCH

To obtain Lord Venkateswara's blessings, Deepika Padukone, who is preparing for her forthcoming aerial action movie Fighter, travelled to Tirumala on Thursday night with her sister Anisha. On social media, Deepika was spotted travelling to Tirumala with her sister Anisha in several videos and images.

Deepika had her hair put in an untidy bun while sporting a black co-ord outfit. Deepika will pray at Sri Venkateswara Swami Temple on Friday morning. Known as the manifestation of Vishnu, Venkateswara is worshipped at the temple. It is believed that he came to earth to save humanity from the hardships of the Kali Yuga. Consequently, Kaliyuga Vaikuntha is the name given to the place, and Kaliyuga Prathyaksha Daivam is the name of the local god.
