Deva Teaser: Action fans can rest assured as Shahid Kapoor has joined the train of upcoming releases with Deva. The teaser which was shared today, promises fans an action thriller that has excited all Shahid Kapoor fans. Returning to action after his 2023 release Bloody Daddy on JioCinema, Deva Teaser has put him back on fans' radar after his 2024 romantic comedy Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya. With this film the Jab We Met actor returns to playing an intense character on the big screen after his 2019 hit film Kabir Singh.

Deva Teaser: Shahid Kapoor Plays A Cop Who Doesn’t Like Words

In the teaser for his upcoming film Shahid Kapoor returns to action in 2025 after his romantic comedy film alongside Kriti Sanon last year. Directed by Rosshan Andrrews and written by Bobby Sanjay Deva is an action thriller that revolves around a cop who prefers action over words. The description for the teaser also reads ‘Welcome to Deva’s world - where action speaks louder than words!’ Deva’s music is composed by Vishal Mishra.

The 52 seconds teaser of Deva showcases Shahid Kapoor dancing with an angry look on his face over intense background score. Over its runtime the teaser established Shahid Kapoor’s character as a trigger happy cop who loves action. Although there are no dialogues in the teaser, Sahid Kapoor’s facial expressions make up for it. Also part of the Deva cast are Pooja Hegde, Pavail Gulatie, Pravessh Rana and Kubbra Sait.

Shahid Kapoor Returns To Action Films Alongside Pooja Hegde

After the success of his 2019 film Kabir Singh, Shahid Kapoor fans grew to love him playing intense characters. Following his 2019 hit, the Jab We Met actor took a break and returned with the sports drama Jersey in 2022. The film received critical acclaim but failed to deliver at the box office. Following that he starred in Bloody Daddy (2023) on JioCinema and gave a box office hit with the romantic comedy Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya (2024). Now he is back to playing an intense character on the big screen after 5 years with his upcoming film Deva. Featuring alongside him is Pooja Hegde who was last seen in the 2023 film Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan with Salman Khan.
