Veteran actor Dharmendra, 89, has been discharged from Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai, with his family deciding to continue his treatment at home. The news was confirmed on Wednesday, ending weeks of concern over the actor’s health.

Dr Pratit Samdani told PTI, “Dharmendra ji was discharged from the hospital around 7.30 am. He will be treated at home as the family has decided to give him treatment at home.”
The update comes after several videos circulated online showing an ambulance arriving at and leaving Dharmendra’s residence, creating a stir among fans and media.

His Hospitalisation And Fake Death Report
Dharmendra’s hospitalisation sparked widespread rumours on Tuesday morning, including false reports about his death. His family quickly responded on social media to clear the confusion. Hema Malini, Esha Deol, and other family members reassured fans that the actor was alive, stable, and responding well to treatment.
Angry Hema Malini took to social media and slammed the media for misleading coverage. She wrote, “What is happening is unforgivable! How can responsible channels spread false news about a person who is responding to treatment and is recovering? This is being extremely disrespectful and irresponsible. Please give due respect to the family and its need for privacy.”
Throughout his hospital stay, Dharmendra was surrounded by his family. Sons Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol, daughter Esha Deol, nephew Abhay Deol, and wife Hema Malini were seen at the hospital, ensuring the actor received constant support. Bollywood friends, including Aamir Khan with girlfriend Gauri Spratt, also visited him on Tuesday. Earlier, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan had paid a visit to the veteran actor on Monday evening.
