Actor Danish Pandor is enjoying the success of Ranveer Singh and Aditya Dhar‘s Dhurandhar 2 The Revenge, which released in theatres on March 19. His role as Uzair Baloch has won praise in both the original film and its sequel. In a chat with Radio City India, Danish opened up about the flood of messages he has been receiving from fans.

Sharing how touched he is by fan reactions, he said, “DMs toh aatey hi rahte hain! Itna pyaar de rahe hain, they are taking so much time and putting me in the story; they are tagging me in the reels! The least I can do is respond to them.”
Dhurandhar 2 Fans Send Love To Danish Pandor
Danish revealed that the fan love isn’t just from India. He claimed to have received texts from Pakistan as well. The actor said, “Bohot saare messages aatey hain waha se bhi. Kai saare: ‘Bohot pasand aye. Dil khush kar diya. Kitni behtereen movie banai hain.”
Fans from countries including Canada, Australia, UK and North America have also reached out. Many are rallying behind his character, Uzair, even calling for “Justice for Uzair.”
Danish has also expressed gratitude to director Aditya Dhar and co-star Ranveer Singh. In a social media post, he wrote, “The entire world has witnessed your magic and I am one amongst those lucky ones who have witnessed it live!! You were, you are and you will be one of the finest actors of this generation. What you have given to Hamza and Jaskirat is irreplaceable. Thanks for being there for me all throughout this journey!! About The Film
Dhurandhar is a spy thriller set in Pakistan in the early 2000s, with Ranveer Singh playing an Indian spy dismantling criminal networks in Lyari. The movie is inspired by true events and stars Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal and R Madhavan.
The sequel Dhurandhar 2 The Revenge was released on March 19.
