While everyone expected the film to hold strong or drop as it entered its 2nd week, it surprised by showing notable growth on Day 8. Read on for the detailed box office report!

Dhurandhar Box Office Collection Day 8

Dhurandhar made a fantastic start at the box office. It opened to Rs 28 crore on Friday. The film kept its momentum over the weekend, earning Rs 32 crore on Saturday, a 14.29% jump, and Rs 43 crore on Sunday, a massive 34.38% rise. By the end of the weekend, it was clear the film was a hit, attracting strong audiences across theatres.

Usually, films see a drop in collections during weekdays. But Dhurandhar stayed strong. On Monday, it earned Rs 23.25 crore, a 45.93% drop from Sunday, which is still healthy for a weekday. Surprisingly, collections bounced back to Rs 27 crore on Tuesday. Wednesday and Thursday also brought Rs 27 crore each. This steady performance helped the film finish its first week at Rs 207.25 crore.

The second Friday was even better. Early estimates suggest Rs 32 crore, showing rare growth for a film in its second week. With this, Dhurandhar has now crossed Hrithik Roshan’s War 2, which earned Rs 237 crore in India. This marks a new milestone for Ranveer Singh.

The film has been strong from advance bookings and continues to attract audiences, despite controversies before and after its release. Its next targets are Rohit Shetty’s Simmba (Rs 240 crore) and Singham Again (Rs 247 crore), which had an ensemble cast including Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, and Kareena Kapoor. With its current momentum, Dhurandhar is expected to chase these numbers soon.

Financially, the film is already a career high for most of its cast. It may soon surpass other big hits like Kabir Singh (Rs 278 crore), Dhoom 3 (Rs 271 crore) and Tiger 3 (Rs 276 crore) in India.

About This Ranveer Singh Starrer Spy Thriller

Directed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar is a high-octane espionage thriller. It is based on major historical events like the 1999 IC-814 hijacking and the 2008 Mumbai attacks. Ranveer Singh plays Jaskirat Singh Rangi, an Indian intelligence agent undercover in Pakistan’s Lyari region as Hamza Ali Mazari. The film also stars Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan and Arjun Rampal.

The film is massive in scale, with a runtime of 214 minutes. This makes it one of the longest Indian films ever made. Filming spanned locations like Bangkok, Ladakh and Amritsar, and even faced challenges such as food poisoning affecting over 100 crew members in Ladakh.

With a reported production budget of Rs 225–280 crore, Dhurandhar has already grossed Rs 329 crore worldwide in just eight days. Its second-Friday collection of Rs 32 crore is the highest of 2025 so far. Strong word-of-mouth has kept collections consistent, helping the film recover nearly its entire cost in the first week. The sequel titled Dhurandhar Part 2 – Revenge is set to release in March 2026.
