The gesture has received a mixed response online. Many users supported the decision and called it a sensitive move by the makers. One Reddit user wrote, “Makes sense considering the film will have a lot of blasts and explosion scenes. Good decision by the team.”
Another user commented, “I think this decision will affect Dhurandhar negatively because they didn’t release anything till now apart from the first look and one song three weeks ago. They were betting completely on the trailer as the biggest marketing asset, and now the little hype it had might fade.”
A third person added, “I think the movie will utilise the blasts and the public emotion since it will be against Pakistan and terrorism.”
Ranveer Singh REACTS To Delhi Red Fort Blast
Earlier, Ranveer Singh had expressed his sorrow over the tragedy. On his Instagram Story, he wrote, “Horrified by the incident that took place in Delhi yesterday evening. My condolences to the families of the bereaved.”
The blast occurred near the Subhash Marg traffic signal, close to Red Fort, when a Hyundai i20 exploded, killing at least eight people. Several others were injured. According to ANI, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has joined the probe, with early evidence suggesting it might have been a terror-related act.
Initial investigations revealed that the explosion was not a planned suicide attack but was possibly triggered in panic by the suspect. Security forces have since carried out raids in multiple locations, including Faridabad, Saharanpur, and Pulwama, recovering a large cache of explosives.
