Former Shark Tank India judge and current Rise And Fall host Ashneer Grover is making headlines after sharing that Bigg Boss 19 makers may have invited him as a wildcard contestant. On September 26, he posted a screenshot of an email he received (reportedly from the show’s Senior Casting Coordinator).

The email praised Ashneer by calling him a strong candidate. It also said, “Your dynamic personality, engaging social media presence and unique appeal have caught the attention of our casting team, making you a strong candidate for this exciting role.”
Ashneer joked about the offer in his own style and his connection with Salman Khan. He wrote, “Haha! Salman bhai se pooch le!! Mai to free ho jaaunga tab tak.” He also teased the technical side of the email and said, “Yeh ‘mail merge’ kisi ki to naukri khayega.”
He first shared the screenshot on X with the caption, “Itni bhauklahat – kuchh zyaada hi competition de diya Rise And Fall ne lagta hai. Is bechaare casting director ki to khair nahi aaj.” However, he later deleted the post, leaving fans curious.
What Ashneer Previously Said About Salman Khan
This isn’t the first time Ashneer and Salman have been linked in the news. Ashneer previously said he was denied a photo opportunity with Salman during a brand shoot. Back in 2019, when he co-founded BharatPe, he reportedly approached Salman to be a brand ambassador. Despite hours of discussion, the deal didn’t materialise.
Fans are eager to see if he will join the show or if it was just a joke. As of now, neither Ashneer nor the Bigg Boss 19 makers have confirmed his participation. However, his witty social media posts have already grabbed attention and kept audiences talking.
