In a candid chat with Viral Bhayani, Hina addressed rumours suggesting their marriage was rushed to suit the show’s format. She said, “Meri shaadi inse hui hai toh mere paas jackpot hai kiya tha ya aapka date fix tha? Ab main aapko iska jawab deti hoon... hum last year karne wale the, unfortunately mere diagnosis ki wajah se hum kar nahi paaye.”

She further explained how the show was pitched when they were still unmarried. “Jab ye show humko offer hua tha... maine unse poocha ki hamari shaadi nahi hui hai toh aap kaise kara rahe ho? Kyunki show ka naam hai 'Pati Patni Aur Panga'. Agar engagement dikhayenge toh chalega, warna nahi.” She clarified that the marriage was already on the cards.

Amid rumours that the wedding was planned just to qualify for the show, Rocky Jaiswal shut down online hate. In a subtle yet strong response, he stated that Hina doesn’t care about negativity, saying “she don’t give rats.”
