Diljit Dosanjh is grabbing attention after a viral concert video sparked concern online. During his Aura World Tour 2026 show in Calgary, the singer made a surprising on-stage comment about death, which quickly spread across social media and left fans divided.
The clip, recorded at the Scotiabank Saddledome on April 30, shows Diljit speaking directly to the audience during his performance. In the video, he talks about life, death and detachment, with many viewers calling his words emotional, while others found them unsettling.
Diljit Dosanjh Shares Shocking Death Remark
The now-viral video was shared on Instagram by user @sunnynota and later circulated widely on Reddit. In the clip, Diljit Dosanjh says, “I have already left this world. I don’t have any fear of death. Last December, I was trying to get out of this body. But now I still have to do a few more things before I leave this body. There is nothing to be afraid of. This is not just a matter of Punjab; it is and will always be. I have already left this world; this is the truth. I am standing on this stage, and this is my God.”
DON'T MISS
He further added, “I have no fear of death, and I don’t have any animosity towards anyone. I love everyone. Love, respect, and forgiveness. I am trying to bring this into my life as much as I can. Those who are still with me, this is the name of Punjab. I am Punjab. What do you say?”
After the clip went viral, social media users reacted strongly. Some expressed concern over his words, while others dismissed it as a philosophical statement or stage talk.
One user commented, “Attention ke liye kuch bhi bolenge ye log.”
Another wrote, “Rich people problems.”
A third user added, “I want to live like him. Have money which solves 95% of problems and rant in front of live public about how sad I am, playing SSR card as per convenience.”
