Viral Shark Tank Clip Triggers Fresh Debate
The controversy began after an old episode clip of Shark Tank India resurfaced on X (formerly Twitter). In the video, Vineeta Singh was seen discussing market trends and consumer behaviour with pitchers.
She said, “The biggest challenge, keeping in mind generation change, is that it is not a growing market, I am sure it will be overall declining.”
During the exchange, Aman Gupta responded, “Why, everyone does puja, even I do it.” Singh then asked, “But the steps in puja, have you ever purchased flowers and offered them to the god?” To this, Gupta replied, “Ha.”
The clip quickly spread online, with users interpreting it in different ways, leading to heated arguments across platforms.
Neighbour’s Viral Post Sparks Fresh Allegations Against Vineeta Singh
The situation intensified when a man on X, claiming to be Singh’s neighbour in Mumbai’s Powai, made strong allegations about her participation in community events.
DON'T MISS
He wrote, “Disgusting. This lady lives in our Housing Society. We regularly lavishly celebrate all of our festivals. When Sri Ram Mandir was consecrated, we had a grand puja, and the Ayodhya consecration event was telecast live on a giant screen. At least I haven’t seen her participate in ANY of the community celebrations in the last 13 years since we moved here from Chennai.”
Reacting to the post, one user wrote, “Some people are so full of themselves ki hum nhin karte phir koi nahin karta isliye shocked thi bloody fool.”
Another commented, “They probably don’t even do puja at home.. The question of a temple doesn’t even arise.”
A third said, “Living with monsters like her. One should have guts.”
One more added, “Make her pay for her comments. Make her pray to temple or make her listen to Hanuman Chalisa daily at 5 AM from her Balcony.”
Vineeta Singh Continues To Face Loss In Her Business
Beyond the social media storm, Vineeta Singh’s brand SUGAR Cosmetics has also been discussed in financial circles. The company reportedly faced losses in FY25, with net losses widening to around Rs 135 crore and revenue slipping to approximately Rs 412 crore.
Despite setbacks, projections for FY26 suggest possible recovery, with expectations of improved revenue growth and reduced losses.
