Reality TV star Divya Agarwal has sparked controversy after speaking out about the online abuse she claims to have received from fans of Prince Narula. The former winner of Bigg Boss OTT Season 1 recently exited the reality show The 50 and is currently holidaying in the Maldives. However, despite being on vacation, the actress addressed the issue on social media.
Divya shared a series of Instagram stories where she spoke about the hate messages she says she has been receiving online. According to her, the trolling increased after Prince uploaded a video criticising her performance on The 50.
She also suggested that Prince’s remarks may have encouraged some fans to target her on social media. Her statements have now triggered a heated debate among reality TV fans online.
Divya Agarwal Viral Video: Actress Speaks About Online Abuse
In her Instagram stories, Divya said the trolling has now crossed a serious line. She claimed that some messages she received contained disturbing threats. She wrote, “Recently I have been receiving a lot of hate from my ex-brother’s (Prince Narula) fans.”
The actress further said that criticism does not bother her, but the threats are deeply disturbing. She added, “Hate ki problem nahi hai, but rape threats.”
Divya also revealed the kind of messages she claims to have received. According to her, some trolls even said they knew where she lives. One of the messages allegedly read, “Hamko pata hai tu kaha rehti hai…10 ladke le kar aayenge…rape karenge, video banayenge. You deserve all of that.”
The actress also indirectly criticised Prince while referring to him as a “so-called” celebrity. She said he watches every episode of The 50 and reacts to it online.
At one point, Divya called him “self-obsessed” and accused him of “instigating fans” to send her hate messages. She also criticised him for helping people and later speaking about it publicly. Referring to this behaviour, she said he often says, “Maine paala hai.”

The controversy began after Prince posted a video reacting to Divya’s performance on The 50. In the clip, he criticised her gameplay and claimed she did not contribute much to the show.
Prince said that Divya performed only one task during her time in the competition. He also mentioned that she returned to the house after watching five episodes and then started believing he was dominating the game.
In the same video, Prince also spoke about their past bond. He reminded viewers that Divya once considered him her brother and said he had saved her earlier in the game. However, he claimed she later chose to join another alliance.
Towards the end of the video, he remarked, “Yaha bhi acha nahi khel payin aap.”

A third user said, “He is also getting hatred from other fandoms, but he didn’t disrespect you, nor did he instigate anyone to hate! But the way you disrespect him shows your personality.”
