The 50 Finalists: The finale week of The 50 has triggered massive chatter online. Fans are closely tracking every update as the reality show heads towards its much-awaited climax. Initially rumoured to be a 25-day format, the show eventually ran for 50 days, keeping viewers invested for longer than expected.
Earlier reports suggested that the grand finale would take place on February 19. While the makers have not issued an official confirmation yet, several media reports have already revealed the names of the finalists. However, Prince Narula’s absence from the list has become the biggest talking point.
So, did Prince Narula miss the finale because of Shiv Thakare?
The 50 Finalists: Four Names Reportedly Confirmed
According to a report by Film Window, four contestants have secured their spots in the finale of The 50. The reported finalists are Shiv Thakare, Mr Faisu, Kaka, and Rajat Dalal.
Notably, Prince Narula’s name is missing. This has surprised many viewers, especially considering his strong presence throughout the season.
The same report explains the unexpected twist. During the recent Ticket to Finale task, Prince Narula allegedly won the finale ticket. However, instead of retaining it, he handed it over to Shiv Thakare, saying, “He’s my brother and I want him to go to the finale.”
If true, Prince voluntarily gave up his confirmed position. Sources claim that Prince Narula, Mr Faisu, Rajat Dalal, and Kaka were originally the four finalists. However, Prince’s decision allowed Shiv Thakare to secure a place in the finale instead.
As expected, social media reacted quickly to the development. One user wrote, “Funny how he was scared to even enter the unsafe zone in the previous task, and he’s giving away a finale ticket like it means nothing.”
Another commented, “PR hai iske baad channel use final me entry kara dega aur winner prince hi banega.”
The reactions reflect mixed emotions. While some fans admired Prince’s gesture, others openly questioned the move.
Prince Narula’s Winning Chances Still Spark Debate
Despite the reports, Prince Narula’s supporters remain hopeful. Many viewers believe that a surprise twist could still bring him back into the finale race.
Recently eliminated contestant Tejaswi Madivada shared her perspective during a media interaction. She said, “Upper hand to unhi (Prince Narula) ka hai, 100%. He has a lot of people supporting him. Then there is Rajat, less people but another gang. It’s a Gangs of Wasseypur where Prince is ruling (sic).”
Former contestant Bebika Dhurve also shared her intuition. She told FPJ, “Mujhe strong intuition aa rahi hai ki kahi Prince na jeet jaye.”
Meanwhile, the final week inside the Lion’s Palace has been packed with drama. Reports highlight tensions between Riddhima Pandit and Divya Agarwal over voting patterns. Nikki Tamboli and Prince Narula were also involved in a heated argument that quickly caught viewers’ attention.
Strategic decisions have continued to shape the competition. Krishna Shroff made headlines after handing her “exit order” to Arushi Chawla. The move reportedly resulted in Arushi’s elimination alongside Tejaswi Madivada. Reports also suggest that Krishna Shroff is the only female contestant to reach the finale.
The finale episode is expected to be filmed today, although the makers have remained tight-lipped about official details. The 50 airs daily at 10:30 pm on Colors TV and at 9 pm on Jio Hotstar.
