Drishyam The Conclusion Movie Review: Drishyam: The Conclusion arrived in theatres on October 2, 2026, as the third and final chapter of the Hindi franchise. Abhishek Pathak returns to direct Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Shriya Saran, Jaideep Ahlawat and Prakash Raj. Advance sales crossed Rs 20 crore gross before release.

A Bold Original Story

Unlike the earlier Hindi films, this one does not follow the Malayalam version. Devgn has said the conclusion is a completely different script, and the makers have confirmed a different approach and climax from Mohanlal’s film. That choice moves the film away from the usual remake tag.

The Ajay Devgn and Jaideep Ahlawat Face-Off

The central clash is the film’s biggest draw. Ahlawat plays Crime Branch officer Rajveer Tomar, who is determined to uncover what really happened. Critics see the face-off between the two actors as one of the film’s biggest highlights. Devgn makes Vijay’s constant calculation visible without explaining it, and silence often speaks louder than dialogue. Tabu adds emotional depth.

Screenplay and Courtroom Drama

The first half keeps the suspense alive, and the second half moves into an engaging courtroom drama with revelations and twists. Bollywood Hungama gave the film 4.5 out of 5.

Mixed Reactions to the Climax

Drishyam The Conclusion Movie Review: Most early reactions are upbeat. One critic called the climax twist unexpected and better than the first two films, while a third critic shared a mixed review. Viewers who loved the Malayalam ending may also react differently, since this version takes its own path. Since the film is built on a final surprise, some fans will always argue over whether it matches their expectations.

Devgn remains the biggest draw as Vijay Salgaonkar, Ahlawat adds a fresh edge to the conflict, and the film delivers a gripping finale. For thriller fans and followers of the franchise, it is worth a watch.
