After months of speculation, Junaid Khan and Sai Pallavi’s emotional love story Ek Din finally has a release date. Sources confirm the film is heading to cinemas on November 7, 2025, with Aamir Khan Productions quietly working behind the scenes. While an official announcement is yet to be made, industry insiders say the team is confident about the film’s theatrical debut.
Earlier this year, there were talks of a Valentine’s Day release, but plans shifted. Meanwhile, Junaid has already made his big-screen debut with Loveyapa alongside Khushi Kapoor. Now, Ek Din is being seen as a key project in his career, pushing him into more emotionally intense roles.
About Junaid Khan And Sai Pallavi Starrer Ek Din
Directed by Sunil Pandey, Ek Din tells the story of two strangers who cross paths for just one day, but it changes their lives forever. The film dives deep into love, destiny and the beauty of human connections.
Junaid Khan’s journey started in theatre with Medea, and later, he stepped into the OTT space with Maharaj. His first big-screen outing was Loveyapa, but Ek Din seems to be his most emotionally layered role so far.
On the other hand, Sai Pallavi, known for her raw performances in the South, is returning to Hindi cinema with this project. After receiving critical acclaim for Gargi, she is also gearing up to play Sita in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana, opposite Ranbir Kapoor and Yash. While Ramayana Part 1 is set for Diwali 2026, Ek Din will mark her Hindi comeback a year earlier.
What’s Special About The Project?
One of the biggest highlights of Ek Din is the reunion of Aamir Khan and Mansoor Khan as producers. The cousins last worked together 17 years ago on Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na. Mansoor, who gave Bollywood cult hits like Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak and Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar, brings his storytelling legacy back into play with this project.
Following the success of Sitaare Zameen Par, Aamir Khan seems focused on supporting films with strong emotional storytelling. Ek Din fits perfectly with this vision. Interestingly, the makers are not aiming for a festival release but are betting on the film’s emotional pull and word-of-mouth buzz to draw audiences in early November.
