Veteran Malayalam Actress Meena Ganesh Passes Away at 81
Veteran Malayalam actress Meena Ganesh passed away on Thursday at the age of 81 in Shoranur, Palakkad, following a cerebral stroke. She had been under treatment for five days at a private hospital.

Meena acted in over 100 Malayalam films, including Vasanthiyum Lakshmiyum Pinne Njanum, Meesha Madhavan, Nandanam, and Mukhamudra. She was also a prominent figure in Kerala's theatre scene, performing with groups like SL Puram Soorya Soma and Kayamkulam Kerala Theatres.
Born in 1942 in Palakkad, Meena was the daughter of actor K.P. Keshavan. She married playwright A.N. Ganesh in 1971 and worked in theatre with him. Meena is survived by her son, director Manoj Ganesh, and daughter Sangeetha.
