On his 46th birthday, Prabhas surprised fans with a big reveal from his upcoming historical action film titled Fauzi. The makers of Hanu Raghavapudi’s much-awaited project announced its title as Fauzi, creating a buzz across social media.
First Look Of Prabhas From Fauzi Unveiled On His Birthday
Mythri Movie Makers shared the first look poster on its official social media handles. They wrote, “#PrabhasHanu is #FAUZI. The bravest tale of a soldier from the hidden chapters of our history.” The title poster shows Prabhas in an intense avatar, giving a glimpse of the film’s action-packed, period setting.
Fans were drawn to a Sanskrit verse that came along with the poster:
पद्मव्यूह विजयी पार्थः
पाण्डवपक्षे संस्थित कर्णः।
गुरुविरहितः एकलव्यः
जन्मनैव च योद्धा एषः॥
Here’s what it means:
पद्मव्यूह विजयी पार्थः – Arjuna (Partha), victorious in the Padmavyuha formation.
पाण्डवपक्षे संस्थित कर्णः – Karna stands on the Pandava side.
गुरुविरहितः एकलव्यः – Eklavya, self-taught and without a guru.
जन्मनैव च योद्धा एषः – A warrior by birth; born to fight.
The verse talks about three legendary warriors from the Mahabharata. It highlights Arjuna’s skill, Karna’s courage, and Eklavya’s natural talent as a lobe warrior. It also suggests that Prabhas’ character in Fauzi is a brave, self-made warrior ready to face challenges.
More About The Film
The film is set in the 1940s and will be a fictional historical drama. Actress Imanvi will play the female lead. Veteran actors Anupam Kher, Mithun Chakraborty, Bhanu Chander, and Jayapradha are also part of the cast.
Prabhas shared the poster on his social media accounts, showing him looking fierce as a Union Jack flag burns in the background. It hints at the high-stakes drama the film promises.
Sources say that production is moving fast. The film has a strong technical team, with Vishal Chandrasekhar composing the music. He had also worked with Raghavapudi on the hit Sita Ramam. Cinematography will be handled by Sudeep Chatterjee, lyrics by Krishna Kanth and Sheetal Sharma is designing the costumes.
