From Bell Bottom to 83, Bollywood films that are set to release in theatres

Cinema has been an integral part of Indian culture. Even as theatres have opened quite some time ago, it took filmmakers some time to come to a decision about releasing their pending films.

Well, here’s the piece of good news. All your much-anticipated films have got release dates. From Akshay Kumar starrer Bell Bottom to Ranveer Singh’s 83, mega budget films are ready to risk it all as they expect footfalls in the theatre even though the novel coronavirus is still very much alive in the country.

Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai(Eid2021)

Salman Khan was the first one to show his confidence in audience as he announced the release date of his film Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai last month. The film will release on Eid 2021, the actor had said.

83 (June 4)
Kabir Khan’s sports drama narrates the story of India’s first World Cup win in 1983. Ranveer Singh stars as the underdog team’s captain Kapil Dev.

Bell Bottom(May 28)

Akshay Kumar starrer espionage thriller will be available in cinemas from May 28.

Shershaah(July 2)

The film is about the late Kargil war hero and Param Vir Chakra recipient Captain Vikram Batra, essayed by Sidharth Malhotra. It stars Kiara Advani as female lead.

Jhund (June 18)
Amitabh Bachchan stars in “Sairat” maker Nagraj Manjule’s sports drama based on real events.

Shamshera (June 25)
Ranbir Kapoor to collaborates with Karan Malhotra for this period action dram, also starring Sanjay Dutt and Vaani Kapoor.

Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui (July 9)
Ayushmann Khurrana and Vaani Kapoor star in the Abhishek Kapoor-directed romantic drama.

Atrangi Re (August 6)
Akshay Kumar, Sara Ali Khan, Dhanush and Nimrat Kaur star in Aanand L. Rai’s film, a romantic drama with AR Rahman’s music.

Jayeshbhai Jordaar(August 27)
Ranveer Singh stars in Divyang Thakkar’s comedy with “Arjun Reddy” heroine Shalini Pandey.

Prithviraj (November 5)
Akshay Kumar stars in the Diwali release. The historical drama by Dr Chandraprakash Dwivedi introduces ex-Miss India Manushi Chhillar in Bollywood.
