Over the years Rajinikanth, also referred to as Thalaivaar by his fans has made a reputation that can rival anyone you pit against him. Moreover, he has been recognised by everyone around him, he has also been awarded with any and all awards from Padma Vibhushan to Dada Saheb Phalke award. Thalaivaar is often known for his aura in films and his dialouge delivery, which has geiven him legendary status. Born on 12th December 1940, the former CM of Maharashtra, who served in the position for three terms, turns 83 today. Sharad Pawar political career started with a high school protest he organised for Goan liberation in the year 1956. Following that he was an active student politics member during his college years. He finally sided and joined Youth Congress in 1958 and quickly rose the ranks to party secreatary. He continued his poltical journey under the wing of Yashwantrao Chavan, a freedom fighter and an influential political figure. Sharad continued his rise in poltics, by serving as the Union Minister of Defence in 1991, along with holding multiple key offices in the coming years.

Next on this list is the former cricketer and the man who hit six sixes in six balls, Yuvraj Singh. Born on 12th December 1981, the cricket star turns 42 today. First getting a taste of international cricket in the year 2000, Yuvi started making a name with his performance in the Pujab U-16 & U-19 team. His international debut in ICC Knockout Trophy against Kenya was followed by a series of highs a lows before he actually found his groove and became the legend in the game, like he is known today. Moreover, along with facing top tier talent on the field, the World Cup winner also faced off with cancer in 2012 and made a healthy comeback. Since then he has played his heart out on the field and set multiple record, while also serving as an inspiraiton for millions.

Tamil Actor Ashok Kumar Celebrates His Turns 43 Today

Ashok Kumar, who is known for his work in the Tamil cinema also shares his birthday with the forementioned celebrities. A Bharatnatyam dancer in his younger days, Ashok won Nrithyamayoor award from the government of Maharshtra for his excellent performance. He got a start in his acting carrer by playing the titular role of Krishna in the 1993 serial. His first film came in the year 2007 in the form of R. T. Neason's Murga. Since then he has featured in multiple films also expanding into Telugu cinema with the 2015 film Kaki.

A man of many talents, Cheran, the four time national award winning director celebrates his 53rd birthday today. Debuting with the 1997 drama Bharathi Kannamma, Cheran had a rocky start to his carrer with his first film finding itself in middle of many controversies. However, Cheran didn't let the hate stop him and followed up with Porkkaalam in the same year. Both of his first two films were commercial success and helped garner a lot of praise for him. From there Chearn has managed to grow as a director and won several accolades for his projects. He also ventured into other ventures such as writing and acting, along with also making an appearance in Bigg Boss Tamil in 2019.
