Gadar 2 actor Sunny Deol's problems were increased yesterday when the Bank of Baroda announced that his grand Juhu bungalow will be auctioned over unpaid dues of approx ₹56 crores. But now, the actor must've breathed relief as the Bank of Baroda withdrew the auction notice and the bungalow will belong to Sunny Deol. The announcement came on Sunday and Bank of Baroda cited technical reasons for removing the auction notice.
Sunny Deol’s Juhu Bungalow is safe
The bank announced on Sunday that the auction for the Gadar 2 actor would begin at 51.43 crore. The amount's minimum bid was fixed at 5.14 crore. Sunny Villa and Sunny Sounds on Juhu were also scheduled to be auctioned off. The Deols own and operate Sunny Sounds. The company is the loan's corporate guarantor. Sunny Deol's father, Bollywood actor Dharmendra, is the loan's personal guarantor.
According to the notice sent on Sunday, the actor siblings can still clear their outstanding debt with the bank to avoid the auction. The auction will be held in accordance with the provisions of the SARFAESI Act of 2002.
Gadar 2 Box Office Collection
According to early estimates from Sacnilk.com, Gadar 2 grossed a whopping 41 crore nett in India on its tenth day. This astounding milestone follows the film's 284.63 crore first-week collection. As the picture entered its second weekend, the buzz only grew stronger. The film earned 20.5 crore on its second Friday, and the figures jumped even higher the following Saturday, earning 31.07 crore. The film's total box office profits currently stand at 377.20 crore.
