On two month death anniversary of Sushant Singh Rajput, his family observed a 24-hour spiritual prayer asa part of their #GlobalPrayers4SSR initiative. Sushant’s former girlfriend Ankita Lokhande and his Raabta co-star Kriti Sanon also observed a collective minute of silence to join the late actor’s family in their campaign.
Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister shared a video of herself praying with her family in front of Sushant’s picture. Sharing the video, she wrote Mrityunjaya Mantra in the caption. She also urged everyone to join the initiative: “Please post a pic of yours with folded hands and join the campaign.”
Ankita took to Instagram to share a glimpse of prayer service. Along with the video, she wrote Mrityunjaya Mantra in the caption while adding, ” Miracle-Man. A startling soul. An awe-inspiring personality. You will be missed Sushant.”
Kriti Sanon also participated in the initiative and posted a picture with folded hands. Sharing the picture, she wrote: “Because its always a good time to pray.. Sending out Prayers and Positivity. May the truth shine soon.. Today, this independence day, lets also free ourselves from negativity and hate while we stand for our beliefs and for what is right (sic) #jaihind #happyindependenceday #PrayersForSSR #MayTruthPrevail #LoveBeforeHate.”
Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister, who has been constantly demanding justice for her late brother, had come up with initiative called #GlobalPrayers4SSR on Friday.
Shewta shared a request which said that a global 24-hour spiritual prayer would be obseverd for Sushant Singh Rajput on Independence Day i.e. 15 August at 10:00 am. The post also quoted Bhagwad Gita: “These bodies are perishable, but the dwellers in these bodies are eternal, indestructible and impenetrable.”
“I request you all to please join us for Global 24-hour spiritual and prayer observation for Sushant Singh Rajput, so that the truth prevails and we find justice for our beloved Sushant #GlobalPrayers4SSR #CBIForSSR #Warriors4SSR,” she had said.
