This movie, which was once known as The Great Indian Rescue, is based on the 1989 Raniganj Coalfields incident. Around 65 miners were saved at that time by an engineer by the name of Jaswant Singh Gill. Along with Akshay Kumar, Parineeti Chopra also appears in the movie. It will release will debut on October 6.
Vedat Marathe Veer Daudle Saat
Akshay Kumar portrays Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in this historical drama movie in Marathi. Mahesh Manjrekar co-produced and directed the movie, which will debut on November 9.
Soorarai Pottru remake
This untitled movie is an authentic remake of the Suriya and Jyothika-starring Tamil movie Soorarai Pottru from 2020. In the starring part, Kumar is joined by Radhika Madan.
Bade Miyan Chote Miyan
This Ali Abbas Zafar-directed movie is a remake of the identical 1998 David Dhawan film with Amitabh Bachchan and Govinda. Tiger Shroff co-stars with Kumar in the major role. Eid 2024 will see the release of the movie.
Hera Pheri 3
Akshay Kumar will reunite with the cast to star in the third entry of this venerable comedy franchise almost ten years after Phir Hera Pheri. The movie will begin production sometime in the following year.
Welcome to the Jungle
A follow-up to the well-received comedy Welcome from 2007 is Welcome to the Jungle. The cast will include Jacqueline Fernandez, Paresh Rawal, Sanjay Dutt, Arshad Warsi, Disha Patani, and Kumar. It is said that the movie will be released around Christmas 2024.
Housefull 5
In the fifth instalment of the popular comedy series Housefull, Akshay Kumar will be back. Riteish Deshmukh is apparently going to act in the Tarun Mansukhani-directed picture, which is also produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. The film will be released on Diwali 2024.
