The post quickly went viral, with fans agreeing that Norris influenced an entire generation of action lovers and martial artists. Akshay himself trained in martial arts before entering films, which made his tribute even more personal.

Sharing an old photo of Norris, Akshay wrote, “Growing up as a martial artist, watching Chuck Norris in Way of the Dragon, Missing in Action, and many more wasn’t just entertainment…it was education. The discipline, strength and effortless command he brought on screen stayed with me. Grateful for the inspiration that shaped a part of me (folded hands emoji).”
Reacting to his post, a user wrote, “Kya fayda sir itni action movies dekhne ka jab aapko sirf Toilet Yojna, Pad Yojna or Sarkari Wakeel yojna based movie banani hai. Aaj tak kaun si expensive action picture ki hai full-time dedication lagake?”

Chuck Norris was one of the most recognisable action stars in the world. His role in the TV series Walker, Texas Ranger and many action films made him famous for his tough screen image and strong personality.
According to a statement shared by his family on social media, the actor died on Thursday in what they called a sudden passing. The statement read, “While we would like to keep the circumstances private, please know that he was surrounded by his family and was at peace.”
Before entering Hollywood, Norris had a very successful career in competitive martial arts. He later made his film debut in 1968 with The Wrecking Crew. Over the years, he acted in many popular films such as Missing in Action, The Delta Force, and Sidekicks.
One of the most iconic moments in his career came when he worked with martial arts legend Bruce Lee. Their fight scene in the 1972 film Return of the Dragon, shot at Rome’s Colosseum, is still considered one of the greatest action scenes in film history.
Norris later appeared in films like The Expendables 2 and the sci-fi action movie Agent Recon. He is also expected to appear in the upcoming film Zombie Plane. He is survived by his wife Gena Norris and his five children. Just days before his death, he posted a sparring video on Instagram and wrote, “I don’t age. I level up.”
