Bollywood’s Dream Girl Hema Malini recently took commuters by surprise after as she travelled in the Mumbai Metro. In a social media post, she revealed that she ditched her car for metro as for quicker time travel. Fans were left totally smitten after the yesteryear actor boarded the metro. She happily obliged for pics and selfies with fans. Videos and pictures of the same have now gone viral on the internet.
Hema Malini shares ‘wonderful experience’ of her metro travel
Hema Malini took to Twitter to share her ‘joy’ of traveling in the metro. Sharing the ‘wonderful experience,’ she also posted some pictures from her early morning travel.
“I must share with all of you my unique, wonderful experience. Drove 2 hours to reach Dahisar by car, so tiring! In the evening decided I would try the metro, and OMG! What a joy it was!True, we went through tough times during the construction, but worth it! Clean, fast & was in Juhu in 1/2 hr,” she captioned the pictures she shared on Twitter.

After her exhilarating metro ride, she took an auto ride back home. Also sharing glimpses of posing with fans, she wrote, “After my metro experience, decided to go by auto from DN Nagar to Juhu & that too was fulfilled. Landed by auto at my house & the dazed security could not believe their eyes! All in all, a wonderful, pleasurable experience for me! In the metro with the public.”

Hema Malini on Amitabh Bachchan
Recently in an interview with Mid-Day, the veteran actor said that author backed roles for female actors have dried up, unlike those for their male counterparts.
“Where are the opportunities today? Even today, author-backed roles are not found for actress; they are reserved for male actors. Mr Amitabh gets such great roles even now, they are written specially for him. But such special roles have not been written for actresses til today.”
The actor further added, “If someone can write a tailor-made role keeping me in mind, it would be nice. I think I too am capable of performing well.”
