Hera Pheri 3 goes on floors with OG trio Akshay Kumar, Suneil Shetty, Paresh Rawal? Twitter erupts

Hera Pheri 3: The star cast of Hera Pheri has been in the centre of rumours over the past few months. It was reported that Akshay Kumar had backed out from the third franchise of cult classic comedy. Then came the news that Kartik Aaryan as Raju had joined Suniel Shetty’s Shyam and Paresh Rawal’s Baburao.

Well, the latest rumour doing rounds is that the third venture of the iconic comedy flick goes on floors today in Mumbai. And yes, the OG trio of Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, and Suniel Shetty have reunited. They are back as Raju, Shaym and Babu Bhaiya from Hera Pheri and Phir Hera Pheri.

Laughter riot is rolling

Fans are overjoyed as it is reported that history is repeating after 24 years and that Hera Pheri 3 is rolling at Empire Studios in Mumbai. The original Hera Pheri was shot here back in 1999. And as the film’s shooting starts today, overjoyed fans have been flooding Twitter with memes.

According to a Pinkvilla report, Hera Pheri 3 will go on floors from February 21. A source shared, “The original Hera Pheri gang reunites to take this cult franchise forward. While ample meetings about the script have happened over the last few months, the team is now confident that Hera Pheri 3 will do complete justice to all the hype and anticipation around the part 3 of Hera Pheri. Right from producer, Firoz Nadiadwala to the actors – Akshay, Paresh and Suniel, are all excited.”
