Historic Achievement! Jungkook of BTS Becomes First K-Pop Soloist with Over 35 Million Monthly Spotify Listeners

Jungkook, a member of the famous K-pop group BTS, has impressed the world with his incredible singing skills and record-breaking achievements. His latest track, Seven, was a huge success, earning the title of the longest-charting No.1 song by an Asian artist in Spotify’s global history. Additionally, he has now become the first-ever K-pop soloist to achieve an incredible 35 million monthly streams on Spotify.

Seven by Jungkook breaks World Record

Jungkook’s song “Seven,” featuring Latto, has become a huge success with fans since its release. It has now broken a Guinness World Record for the most streamed song by a male artist in a single week on Spotify, with 89.7 million streams, surpassing the previous record held by Harry Styles’ “As It Was” with 78.4 million streams.

In addition to its streaming success, “Seven” has also topped three prominent Billboard charts: the Billboard Hot 100, Billboard Global 200, and Billboard Global Excluding US. Within just seven days of its release, the song gained 83.3 million views and debuted at No. 1 on YouTube’s Top Music Videos chart, making it an instant hit.

The member of BTS is keeping busy on Weverse by checking in on fans and chatting with them while listening to their covers of fan songs. He also performed with SUGA at August D TOUR D-DAY The Final concert, where they sang Burn It and Seven. Furthermore, he is promoting his popular single globally and collaborating with other K-pop stars, including Mingyu from SEVENTEEN, for a dance challenge. Recently, Seven won its eighth music show trophy on Show Champion, held on August 9th.
