BTS: There is no denying that BTS had the entire world in their hands when they released Dynamite in 2020. Shattering several records, Dynamite earned the highest number of views on YouTube in one day. Even to date, almost five years after the Bangtan Boys' summer pop song release, it is still breaking records day and night, be it on YouTube or Spotify. Recently, Dynamite achieved an intriguing milestone on the musical platform Spotify and strengthened its royal position in the music industry. Let's take a look at this historic achievement.

BTS DYNAMITE Joins the 2 Billion Club on Spotify

Bangtan Sonyeondan aka BTS have had many ups and downs in their career starting from a company that was not popular in the K-pop market to getting hate for their looks and music style, the seven-member boy-group endured a lot. But, all well when the end is well, after struggling for almost five years, K-pop made a new name for itself internationally with the help of Bangtan and there's no going back afterward. RM-led BTS has earned several recognitions and firsts in their journey to top. Adding to the long list of exquisite achievements and experiences, BTS' popular track DYNAMITE became the first ever song by a K-pop group in Spotify history to earn 2 Billion streams. This achievement unlocked the new vision towards BTS' future as all the members will soon be back to their work this year after completing their mandatory military service in June.

BTS Only After Their Golden Maknae Jeon Jungkook

BTS's song Dynamite is the first-ever song by a K-pop group to achieve 2 Billion streams on Spotify, however, it is second overall by a Korean act. And do you know, who's leading the race on Spotify? It's the BTS' youngest member Jeon Jungkook. In 2023, before leaving for the military Jungkook wreaked havoc in the International music market with the release of Seven. His song Seven has a whole fandom drooling over its captivating beats and light mood. Seven has also reached the milestone of 2 Billion streams on Spotify and currently, it has 2.154B streams.

BTS J-hope to Attend Gala Event in France Alongside G-Dragon and BLACKPINK Rosé

BTS member J-hope, who recently completed his mandatory military service, will soon be attending and performing at the Gala des Pièces Jaunes 2025. The event is set to take place on January 23rd at Paris La Défense Arena with a massive capacity of 35K people. As this will be J-hope's first performance after 1.5 years of military service, it is safe to say that the whole crowd can be filled with BTS Army. Alongside J-hope, BLACKPINK member Rosé and K-pop sensation G-Dragon, who's a very respected idol in the Korean entertainment industry will also be performing for the audience. Both of these stars were colleagues in K-company, YG and has a massive fan following as well.
