The rapper turned businessman ended his statement by saying, "I Look Forward to Showing You How Different I Am."

Jay Z Responds To Rape Allegations

After the lawsuit became a topic of discussion in the media, Jay Z wasted no time in releasing a statement in his defense. Via his company Roc Nation's twitter account the rapper released a statement reading, "My lawyer received a blackmail attempt, calling a demand letter, from a "lawyer" named Tony Buzbee. What he had calculated was the nature of these allegations and the public scrutiny would make me want to settle"

The statement continues, "No sir, it had the opposite effect! It made me want to expose you for the fraud you are in a VERY public fashion." The rapper then makes his intentions clear by saying, "So no, I will not give you ONE RED PENNY!!" He continues by saying that the seriousness of these allegations require the person responsible to go to jail. So the accusers should move forward with a criminal complaint. "These allegations are so heinous in nature that I implore you to file a criminal complaint not a civil one!! Whomever would commit such a crime against a minor should be locked away, would you not agree?"

Jay Z Addresses The Lawyer

The 99 Problems rapper then goes on to address the lawyer behind this lawsuit Tony Buzbee. He said, "This lawyer, who I have done a bit of research on, seems to have a pattern of these types of theatrics!"

"I have no idea how you have come to such a deplorable human Mr. Buzbee, but I promise you I have seen your kind many times over," the rapper says. "I'm more prepared to deal with your type. You claim to be a marine?! Marines are known for their valor, you have neither honor nor dignity," he continued.

In his statement the rapper also mentioned that his kids will have to face difficulties explaining the situation to their friends, who will inevitably question them about it. The rapper said, "I mourn yet another loss of innocence." He also said that he is unlike any other celebrity and talks about his journey to success and principles. He ended the statement by saying, "I look forward to showing you how different I am."
